Pull out your iPhone, here’s one of my secret tips for you iPhone photography lovers out there.
(today) If you were to purchase only ONE iPhone photography app to get started, here’s a good one. Camera+ is a super app for anyone, from beginner, to advanced photographers. It’s one of my most used apps.
If you would like to read a little more information about the Camera+ iPhone photo app, here’s the success story, and a little bit about the woman developer of the app. I LOVED hearing this success story, and that it is a woman app developer (Lisa Bettany), even better. ( ** after writing this post, Lisa replied to my Tweet to tell me that she actually grew up on Vancouver Island, in Victoria. Even better! Another Vancouver Island success story! You can follow Lisa on Twitter here : @mostlylisa ** )
So if you are looking for a new career, and have the talent for iPhone app development, there is not a better time than right now, to figure it out, and dive in.

TIP : Here’s an example of how you could quickly enhance a basic iPhone photo using Camera+. Here is the original image, right out of the iPhone camera, and it’s an “average” photo. It’s just “OK” in my opinion:
Next, here is that same original, with the “clarity” filter applied, which makes an “average” photo a little sharper, a little more vibrant, with the colors a little more saturated. This is not a “gimicky” application to a photo, which I like, but simply a way to make an “average” or “OK” iPhone photo just a touch better:
Finally, here is the original, cropped to square using Camera+ and then with a couple of filters applied, one on top of the other, in order to achieve another possibility for an interesting and creative photo, with a different composition, bringing your subject (eggs) in, even closer, and with new color enhancement applied:
The possibilities are endless with Camera+ so have FUN with it 🙂
Here’s one more image, and an excellent example of what you can do, when using only the Camera+ app: Horses on a Horse Ranch in the Cariboo of B.C.
Thanks for popping by my blog, and I hope this has been eggxactly what you needed to see and hear today 🙂 More iPhone Photography Tips coming soon!
