Why have I not called my Facebook business page Brenda Johima Photography, or Johima Photography, or Brenda Johima Artist, or, or, or … some other specific niche that’s good for SEO, for target marketing your audience, on and on and on, you know, all the buzz words? Well, I LOVE doing it all.
I write, I paint, I take pictures, I’m a prolific iPhone photographer, design logos, set up WordPress based business sites for entrepreneurs, and I paint and I write, and I take photographs, make collages and mixed media works, and I cook without recipes and make stuff up, and garden and stick stuff into soil in ways we are told not to … and I draw cartoons and love to do things never in the same way each time … I create in my way, in my time … I create something all day, every day, from about 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
It’s not forced, it just happens, it’s just me. There’s no definition between work and life and play.
Being a creative, is living a life, one with everything that I love to do. It’s taken me forever to NOT succumb to the pressure of others, to BE ONE THING.
I am not one thing.
