I am really really very good at SEO (search engine optimization) and Internet Marketing and Online Marketing. (Oh yes, this is me, solo entrepreneur, Brenda Johima, Vancouver Island (Comox Valley) based photographer, painter and mixed media artist.)
And, I just completely wiped out and deleted three of my own websites and blogs. Three years of writings and paintings and photography on one of the blogs, and the sites have been up for about 8 years.
So?
Most web designers and developers and SEO experts would advise against that. I would have advised my clients for JOHIMA Designs to never do that.
And you know what? So what. I want to start over to be happier and to simplify my life and business. I want more time off of the computer and outdoors and walking around, and spending time with people I love, and in meeting new people.
It’s about living the truth, and it’s about being honest with me, and it just feels great to wipe the slate clean, not care what others think, and let’s see what evolves on this blank canvas now.
Minimalism. Try it, you might like it.
