This is me. The Hummingbird.

I am grateful to Oprah for providing the platform via Super Soul Sessions, for me to hear Elizabeth Gilbert talk about the curiosity-driven life.

I have been trying to write about this for months by myself; and I mean months. I have been unable to get the words out with clarity so that it might make sense to you all.

So when I found this, this morning, it was perfect. What Elizabeth describes in this video, is exactly me. This is what I have been trying to say but have been unable to communicate with words.

I would be like the lady in the video (at around the 7:00 point) who wrote Elizabeth that long Facebook post, all while sitting all alone behind a locked door in her hotel room after hearing an “inspiring” talk, and then proceeding to beat self up and to compare to others, all while totally alone.

So instead of me writing more, as I couldn’t say it any better than Elizabeth does here, please have a watch and listen for yourself.
