I have been encouraged by Janis Lacouvee in Victoria and Sylvia Tan in Vancouver to instigate the first ever Twestival in the Comox Valley, which happens around the globe, on March 24th, 2011.
I have accepted the challenge, and am donating my time as a Volunteer to coordinate this event in my community, the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. 2011 is Twestival Local, meaning, any funds raised during the event, go directly to a non-profit in our community. The criteria states that the non-profit MUST be chosen not by voting, but by nomination from the community.
